Jonida Lazellari is a performing artist, scholar, and piano educator whose career spans solo performances, chamber music collaborations, and interdisciplinary projects. Known for her versatility and passion for contemporary music, Jonida has a particular interest in performing works by living composers, with a commitment to championing underrepresented voices, especially women composers.

Her doctoral research focused on works for piano and electronics by American composer Missy Mazzoli, highlighting innovation and storytelling in contemporary music.

Jonida's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in Piano from the University of Arts in Tirana, Albania. She furthered her studies with a Master of Music from Syracuse University and earned a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from Pennsylvania State University.
