Tom McEvoy is an American jazz pianist based in New York City. He began playing at the age of four, and went on to earn his masters degree from the Juilliard School. He regularly performs around the city, and has played at many of New York’s top jazz clubs, including the Blue Note, Birdland, Dizzy’s, Smalls, and Smoke. He has traveled to Europe, South America, Central America, Canada, and most of the United States to play and teach. His musical influences are the great pianists, especially Wynton Kelly, Hank Jones, Ahmad Jamal, Thelonious Monk, and McCoy Tyner.
