Maxine Feldman is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. She has taught music and movement, piano, guitar, voice and recorder to over 450 students for 25 years. She has taught at CYCLE Educational Center, Head Start, the International School of Brooklyn, Arista Prep Academy, Steps Elementary School, and the Diller-Quaile School of Music.
She has served on the music faculties of NYU, Brooklyn College, the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music and the Lucy Moses School.
Ms. Feldman has also performed as a pianist at Lincoln Center, Weill Recital Hall, the Danny Kaye Playhouse and the United Nations. She has served as music director for the Heights Players, Unity Theatre, Long Island University, the Contempory Opera Company of America and the Manhattan Opera Repertory Ensemble. She has served as choral director for many senior centers, synagogues, NYU, and the Regina Opera Company. As a pianist, she has given over 200 recitals though out the New York City area, New Jersey and Connecticut. She performed Rhapsody in Blue with the Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra.
