A graduate of Northwestern University with a B.A. in Economics, Neha spent four years working for Google in sales and marketing in the Bay Area before leaving to pursue a graduate degree in jazz vocal performance at the New England Conservatory of Music. Since graduating, Neha has amassed a list of noteworthy credits, as a performer, educator and songwriter. Her performance credits include headlining at the famous off-Broadway show “Sleep No More,” performing with her songwriting project at Lincoln Center, and being a recurring guest of Dan Zanes, multi-grammy award winning songwriter and artist.
In January 2014 Neha released her debut record, ‘The Dreamer.’ Neha penned eleven of the twelve tunes on her album, and was named a finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for her original song “The Willow Tree” which is featured on the new album.
Neha has worked as a Teaching Artist for the Metropolitan Opera Guild and served on the faculty of the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music. In addition to joining the team at Church Street School for Music and Art, she currently works as a conductor for the Brooklyn Youth Chorus and teaches at the Jalopy Theatre and School of Music.
