Originally from Missouri and raised in Maryland, Alex came to the city and the noise lit up her world. After graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, she traveled solo for a couple of months, spanning the distance all the way from Israel to Iceland. She has taught art to children in a range of capacities for the past few years. In her own work, spotlit on poetry/piano/painting and how to merge all with film, she strives to swerve with a new angle, to see the mundane as beautiful; to always be learning something new.
